How to order a cake with us

Our unique Gelato decorated cakes are Gelato filled real cakes, covered with chocolate and fondant, can be in different sizes and shapes, custom made and quoted separately.
Gelato Cakes are sold per Kg. and you can call our store or order via email at Giorgio.barassi@nuvolagelato.com and the sizes available are 6"-7"-8"-9"-10".​
Custom cakes have to be quoted each time and you can order through daisy.castelli@gmail.com
First of all we need to know for how many people will be the cake, second the date, third the style and them the flavor.
​We have many different options and every cake is different, depending on details, toppers, technique and filling. 
HOW TO ORDER A CAKE WITH US... This is a selection of cakes we have done in these years, we rarely do copies of our own and NEVER copy other artists. Please send us an email and we will be more than happy to help you, send us ideas of what you are looking for and we will provide a quote. ​Following below are some examples of flavors you can choose, but once you send us an email we can go further on and customize it for you.​
Chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream
Chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream
Chocolate cake with chocolate ganache (dark bitter) and raspberry jam or raspberries
Chocolate cake with chocolate pastry cream (similar to a mousse)
Chocolate cake with coconut thick frosting
Vanilla cake with pastry cream and buttercream
Vanilla cake with buttercream
Vanilla cake with buttercream and strawberry jam and or strawberries
Vanilla cake with chocolate combination (ganache/cream or buttercream)
Vanilla cake with coffee buttercream and mascarpone (tiramisù)
Vanilla cake with lemon buttercream and lemon curd
Red velvet with cream cheese
Buttercream can be vanilla, orange blossom, peppermint, lemon, rose, lavender, coffee or (hazelnut with a slightly higher price.)
Combos are many just let me know what are your preferences. Ferrero Rocher, Oreo, Nutella, you name it, we can probably do it! our facility won't work with Peanuts but anything else we are happy to help you with.

Nude Cake

Cake and Frosting with piping on top, not frosted on the sides.

Frosted Cake

Our basic Cake, standard heigh is 3' tall and is available in every size from 5"-6"-7"-8"-9"-10".
The height of all our cakes can is available also in 4"/5"/6" and double barrel, and is priced separately.

Frosted plus Flowers

All of our cakes can be decorated with real flowers, prepared and isolated with special materials,  purchased from our neighbor florist Adele Rae or provided by the client. 

Frosted plus Print

Our Frosted Cakes can include a print, we need to have the order placed 2 weeks prior and the print is quoted depending on size.

Frosted Unicorn

Unicorn cakes are 4" or 5" tall depending on the size
of the cake and are quoted separatley 

Fondant Cake

Basic fondant covered cakes have included in the price a basic decor

More complex design will be charged
separately depending on complexity of the cake

Custom Fondant plus topper

More complex design will be charged separately depending on complexity of the cake

 Custom Carved plus toppers 

More complex design and shape will be charged

The Rose Cake

Our signature Cake is the Rose cake, it is in 3 sizes, 5",6",7" this cake has to be ordered minimum a week prior and can have gelato inside, with a thin layer of cake. or fully cake.

Multi Tiers Cake

Half sheet cake carved into your favorite jersey

Wedding Cakes

Wedding Cakes have to be quoted each time. we do paid tastings that we will subtract if you place the order with us from the final price.  

1/2 Sheet Cakes

Standard 1/2 sheet cake, customizable in servings and design

Crostate

Available on order in fruit or any filling

Number and Letters Cakes

Available in cake or in cookie, customizable on decorations and quotable separately depending on decor

Regular Cupcakes

With a buttercream swirl and sprinkles, available in every flavor of our list and with a minimum order of 6 per type.

Extra Design Cupcakes

With a buttercream swirl and a small decoration or with a buttercream flower shape, available in every
flavor of our list and with a minimum order of 6 per type.

Topper Cupcakes

With a buttercream swirl and a larger decoration, available in every flavor of our list and with a minimum order of 6 per type.

Cake Pops

Available always in store in vanilla and chocolate,
available on order in red velvet, coffee and caramel 

Extra Design Cake Pops

Price to define on order and complexity of the design, minimum order is 6 per flavor and design.

Cake balls

Available on order and customizable
for "sweet tables", minimum order 12.
